2 Day Course - Pink Poppy Meadow - intermediate course
Friday 27th and Saturday 28th February 2026 10am to 4:30pm
We have 20 places available and the course is held at: Monks Yard, Horton Manor
Horton Cross, Ilminster, Somerset, TA19 9PY.
This course is an opportunity to spend some quality 'me time' with like minded creative people. It is suitable for those with a basic knowledge of embroidery stitches. That is, you know a French knot from a fly stitch.
Learn to create this meadow of pretty pink poppies, cornflowers and cow parsley.
Jo will refresh you knowledge of the stitches used and then guide you through how to layer the threads and create the perspective used to bring this scene to life.
The course includes the kit which contains a printed background, threads, needle and instructions.
Requirements: small scissors, needle threader if needed, glasses if required, embroidery hoop or interlocking bar frame(available to purchase on the day if needed).
Details of the day:
You need to make your own way to and from Monks Yard. Parking is free.
Refreshments of tea, coffee and biscuits are provided on arrival at 09:45am for 10:00am start.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided in morning break.
Light lunch is provided on both days.
Afternoon tea, coffee and cake.
Class finishes at 4:30pm both days.
