Subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know when booking opens.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe have 16 places available the course is held at: \u003ca title=\"https:\/\/monksyard.co.uk\/about-us\/find-us\/\" href=\"https:\/\/monksyard.co.uk\/about-us\/find-us\/\"\u003eMonks Yard\u003c\/a\u003e, Horton Manor\u003cbr\u003eHorton Cross, Ilminster, Somerset, TA19 9PY.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis course is suitable for absolute beginners, transferring from cross stitch or those that did some basics back at school.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJo will step you through how to create this pretty border and teach you the following stitches: straight, back, whipped back, detached chain, fly, blanket and French knot.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe course includes the kit which contains a printed background, threads, needle and instructions.  We will stretch the fabric onto a interlocking bar frame for you so you are ready to go.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRequirements: \u003c\/strong\u003esmall scissors, needle threader if needed, glasses if required.  You are welcome to practise threading a needle if you think you need it ahead of the day.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDetails of the day:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou need to make your own way to and from Monks Yard.
